Presentation
The Brut Millésimé is fully in keeping with Maison Deutz’s mission: to celebrate the richness of the Champagne terroirs. This gastronomic cuvée reveals the identity of a particular year, the imprint of some of the finest terroirs of the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley, and the masterful craftmanship of a patient and precise winemaking process.
The Spirit of the Cuvée
This Vintage Brut is a quintessential exercise in style, remaining true to the Deutz signature whilst allowing the vintage to express itself fully. With a predominance of Pinot Noir, it reveals a generous and slightly spicy character, ample and rich, animated by a controlled freshness. After blending, the wine is aged for at least five years in the House’s historic cellars. This slow maturation enriches the texture and deepens its complexity.

Five years of ageing bring depth and graceful maturity to the wine, unveiling a refined expression where freshness and complexity are perfectly balanced.
On the nose, the vintage opens with a warm, sun-kissed expression, where mirabelle plum, apricot and ripe peach unfold with generous intensity.

Brut Millésimé 2019
The luminous golden hue, light to medium in depth, is animated by a fine and sustained effervescence. The nose reveals a generous, sun-filled aromatic profile, with mirabelle plum, apricot and ripe peach enriched by subtle spicy and smoky nuances. On the palate, the ample and generous attack reveals a rich flavour of ripe yellow fruits, followed by gentle spices and toasted notes. The finish lingers with a delicate hint of liquorice bitterness, revealing the finesse of the Grands Crus: the poise of Verzenay, the breadth of Bouzy, the elegance of Aÿ.
Food & Champagne Pairing
This cuvée is the perfect accompaniment to dishes with oriental and spicy flavours. Chicken tagine with apricots and almonds, shoulder of lamb with mild spices, or rabbit with prunes — the notes of cinnamon, honey and candied fruit echo the wine’s depth.
