The Spirit of the Cuvée
The rosé expression of Amour de Deutz is an ode to Champagne’s iconic terroirs. It draws on the richness of Bouzy and Ambonnay, the freshness and elegance of Aÿ, and the refined balance of the Montagne de Reims, all enhanced by the crystalline purity of the Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs, blended with red wines from the Deutz’s own vineyards. Aged for nine years in chalk cellars, this cuvée embodies the grace of contrast. A unique interplay between light and depth.

Tasting Notes
Amour de Deutz Rosé 2015
The hue is delicate, with shades of rose gold and salmon pink, carried by exceptionally fine bubbles. The expressive, warm nose conjures up cooked red and black fruits, blueberry and raspberry, enhanced by brioche, praline and a floral touch of rose and peony. On the palate, the vibrant attack unfolds fully alongside a dense, enveloping texture leading to a long finish of liquorice, tonka bean, white pepper and citrus zest.
Food & Champagne Pairing
This finely crafted rosé, with its full-bodied and silky texture, pairs just as well with grilled lobster or red mullet as it does with Kobe beef carpaccio, suckling lamb or pigeon with cherries. Its briny freshness is equally well-suited to rich fish and seafood.
